Pet Photos with Santa
Every year, Kristin volunteers as “Santa’s Helper” at the Boulder Humane Society. This consists of making cat noises, squeezing squeaky balls, jumping up and down, and a number of other things to get the attention of the pets. I decided to come along this year and watch her in action.
I was not disappointed. First up was a family and their pets, a cat (Ms. Sugarplum), a rabbit (Jack, of course) and a mouse (Emma or Ella, I can’t remember). I watched as Kristin tried her best to get the attention of the apathetic cat while the rabbit jumped around on people’s laps and a mouse kissed one of the family members while propped up on a shoulder. Hilarious.
I wasn’t expecting to get in any pictures, but my sister showed up with her beautiful dog, Wilson and we all posed for this pic.
