Beck
Not the music star Beck. This “Beck” uses two turn tables and a moo-crophone. Ahem.
I’ve been trying to keep up with my illustration work these days, since my day job doesn’t call for too much cartooning. Using the website, Guru.com, I found a job illustrating a cow in a rocking chair for The J.D. Rockin’ Ranch in Texas.
Beck is an actual cow who’s owner claims is famous (amongst the cow community, anyway) all over the world. The owner agreed to let me post this “likeness” of Beck on my website after he asked her first.

My girlfriend is looking at taking on some work from guru.com. How was you’re experience? I’m always leery of site like this…

It’s difficult to compete on any site like this, so you have to take a price cut if you want to get work. But, of all of the sites that are like this, I’ve found that Guru is the best.
